PMSHRIJNVEGH Hosts Bagless Day Activities on 1st February 2025

On 1st February 2025, PMSHRIJNVEGH organized a Bagless Day filled with engaging and educational activities, focusing on language development. The event was a part of the PM SHRI initiative and aimed to enhance the students' learning experience through hands-on projects. Students from various classes worked together to prepare various Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) and models related to the language, promoting creativity and interactive learning.
The day was marked by an array of indoor activities where students from different classes worked together to create a variety of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs). They prepared informative charts on essential English grammar topics such as Tenses, Modal Verbs, the Verb "To Be", Prepositions, and Parts of Speech. In addition to these, the students also made models on synonyms, further strengthening their grasp on vocabulary and its use.

Their teachers, Ms.Priyanka Zade, TGT English, and Ms. Isita Som, TGT English, students from Class VI A and VIII B were at the forefront of preparing these TLMs. Their participation was not only enthusiastic but also reflected a deep
engagement with the language learning process.
By preparing TLMs and engaging in these activities, students were able to visualize concepts, improving their understanding of English in a memorable and enjoyable manner.
The Bagless Day was entirely dedicated to language activities, allowing students to explore and express their knowledge creatively, without the usual academic load of carrying textbooks.
The spirit of the Bagless Day also encouraged students from other classes, including VI, VII, and VIII, to take part in the Language Fair, making it a collaborative event where everyone showcased their creativity and learning.
The Bagless Day activities provided students with an opportunity to learn by doing, reinforcing their understanding of English grammar through practical, hands-on experiences. The event fostered a sense of teamwork, creativity, and language development, all while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Overall, the event proved to be a huge success, reflecting the objectives of the PM SHRI initiative in bringing a more holistic and innovative approach to education, reinforcing the importance of creative, experiential learning in language education.
