Inspiring Unity: JNVEGH's Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav enriched by Teacher's Rendition of "Akla Cholo Re"

As part of the celebration of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav, MOD Ms. Tumpa Saha (TGT Librarian) performed the iconic Bengali song "Akla Cholo Re" in the morning assembly conducted on 10/11/23. Through the teacher's rendition with its evocative lyrics and stirring melody, the essence of Tagore's composition became a guiding force encouraging students to embark on their journeys with courage and determination. As the echoes of Bengali melodies lingered, the celebration seamlessly transitioned into the soulful tunes of Assamese song "O More  Aponar Desh" presented by the student Pallabi Adhikari. The lilting tunes and heartfelt lyrics showcased the depth and diversity of the Assamese language. In commemorating the Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav through the melodious expressions of Bengali and Assamese songs, JNV Williamnagar not only celebrated linguistic diversity but also nurtured a spirit of inclusivity and cultural appreciation.
