Celebrating International Women’s Day at JNV Williamnagar : Empowering Women and Recognizing their Contributions
On the occasion of International Women's Day on 8th March, JNV EGH organized a heartfelt celebration to honor all the female staff members and female members of the staff. The event aimed to recognize their dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions to the school community. It commenced with a soul- stirring speech by Mr. Manoj Debnath (PGT Geography) highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day and the importance of recognizing and uplifting the contributions of women in society. From graceful dance performance by the class 9 students to the powerful poem recitation by Mr. Rajkamal Bairwa ( TGT Hindi), each act captivated the audience and celebrated the spirit and resilience of womanhood. Each woman was felicitated with heartfelt gratitude and tokens of appreciation, symbolizing the school's acknowledgment of their efforts. Followed by a special cake cutting ceremony, Principal Sir Mr. Ravi Kant delivered a heartfelt speech acknowledging the invaluable role of women in the school community. The festivities concluded with a lively musical chair game. Laughter filled the air as teachers joined in the friendly competition, showcasing their playful spirit and camaraderie. The event served as a catalyst for change and empowerment within the school community, inspiring hope for a more inclusive and equitable future.
