Children's day at JNV Williamnagar is a time to celebrate the unique talents and vibrant spirit of the students.This year, JNV Williamnagar elevated the festivities with an extraordinary blend of sports and fancy dress performance. The day commenced with a series of sports activities including three leg race, blind
race, spoon race plate race, relay race , cock fighting etc, fostering a spirit of
friendly competition and team work. Students from all the houses actively participated showcasing their athletic
abilities and sports-manship. Teachers
including our Principal Sir Mr.
Ravi Kant not only actively participated in plate race but also grabbed the second position to encourage the students. Following the sports activities in the ground, the academic block transformed into a colorful display of creativity with a fancy dress extravaganza. Students donned an array of costumes ranging from Princess to the ghosts & vampires adding a touch of theatricality to the celebration.
Disha Yadav ( PET Female) presented a beautiful
Garo song Ring na aminga. The event aimed not only to commemorate the birth anniversary of
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru but also to be an inspiration for students to explore and pursue their passions in sports and arts.
