Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav culminates in a spectacular cultural ceremony at JNV EGH

JNV Williamnagar witnessed a splendid culmination of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav on its final day on 11/12/2023, as students and teachers came together for a vibrant cultural ceremony that showcased the linguistic diversity of India. The event commenced with paying homage to the portrait of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathi Iyer by the Principal Sir Mr. Ravi Kant, followed by a marvellous speech on the life of Mr. Bharathi by Sanu Kumar (class IX). Students donning in traditional attire representing various states, took the stage to showcase their linguistic prowess through dance, music and poetry. The multilingual cultural extravaganza featured mesmerizing performances in different languages ranging from Bengali, Sanskrit, Rajasthani, Gujrati to regional languages like Garo, Bhojpuri, and traditional dance of UP & Assam. From Punjabi to Tamil, from Rajasthani to Bodo , it offers a kaleidoscope of India's linguistic and cultural mosaic. The school's academic block reverberated with applause as each performance seamlessly transitioned to the next, creating a tapestry of languages that encapsulated the essence of Bharatiya Bhasha.  Principal sir , in a concluding address commended the students for their efforts in makingBharatiya Bhasha a grand success.The Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav at JNV Williamnagar was not just a celebration, it was a testament to the beauty of India's linguistic heritage and the inclusive spirit that binds us all together.
