Delving into the linguistic extravaganza of
Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav, students of
JNV EGH Anamika Das (Class VIII) &
Urvashi Rabha ( Class IX) presented the iconic
Bengali poem, with its universal fearless mind "
Chitto Jetha Voi Shunno, Uchcho jetha Shir" along with its English version
" Where the Mind is without Fear" by
Rabindranath Tagore in the morning assembly conducted on 21/11/23.In the serene corridors of
JNV Williamnagar, these words echo fostering a sense of fearlessness, elevation and freedom among students. Complementing the celebration,
MOD Mr Purnendu Sanki (PGT Physics) recited another thought provoking
Tagore's poem Proshno in the morning assembly conducted on 25/11/23. Celebration of
Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav becomes a platform where the sentiments are celebrated in myriad languages, showcasing the linguistic kaleidoscope that is India.
