JNV EGH Embarks on a Green Mission: Tree Plantation Drive Led by M&R Incharge and School Beautification Incharge

In a concerted effort towards environmental conservation and beautification, JNV Williamnagar conducted a noteworthy tree plantation drive on 28th February 2024. Spearheaded by the M&R Incharge Mr. Manoj Debnath ( PGT Geography) in collaboration with the School Beautification Incharge Mr. Sirajuddin ( TGT PET Male), the initiative  witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers. School captain and all the house captains alongwith their respective HMs eagerly planted a variety of saplings across the school campus. From indigenous species to different species of mango plants, and sapodilla,  every sapling symbolized a commitment to biodiversity and sustainability. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Sir Mr. Ravi Kant emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and fostering a healthy environment. They stressed on the significance of nurturing these saplings into mature trees, which would create belongingness among students. Likewise, the School Beautification Incharge highlighted how such initiatives contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the school.  The tree plantation drive at JNV Williamnagar epitomized the school's proactive stance towards environmental conservation and community engagement. As the saplings take root and flourish, they will serve as a living testament to the collective efforts of the entire JNV community in nurturing a greener, more sustainable future.
