In a vibrant display of cultural diversity, students from JNV Williamnagar recently captivated audience at a Delhi tourism programme held on 17th December, 2023 with their traditional Wangla performance, showcasing the unity in diversity ethos.The journey to this momentous occasion began with the students' victory in the regional integration meet held at Guwahati where they competed against counterparts from various JNVs of Shillong region. The Wangla performance, a traditional dance form originating from the Garo tribe of Meghalaya, was a testament to the rich cultural heritage embedded within India's diverse tapestry. As the rhythmic beats reverberated through the venue, spectators were transported to the serene landscapes of the North-east.
