JNV Williamnagar recently witnessed a thrilling Inter House Carrom Competition, a testament to the school's commitment to promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among its students. Organized collaboratively by Mr. Sirajuddin (TGT PET Male) and Ms. Disha Yadav (TGT PET Female) , the event showcased the combined efforts of the entire physical education department in fostering a culture of healthy competition and teamwork. Organised at the school assembly ground on 10/4/23, students from different houses eagerly participated in the competition, displaying their skills and enthusiasm for the classic game of carrom. It fostered a sense of unity and belonging among the houses, as students cheered for their respective teams with fervor and enthusiasm. Amidst cheers and spirited chants, Arawali House demonstrated unparalleled skill and determination, emerging triumphant in all four categories of the competition i.e. Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Senior Boys, Senior Girls.Their players exhibited exceptional precision, strategic prowess, and unwavering sportsmanship. The collaborative efforts of the TGT PET Male and TGT PET Female ensured the smooth execution of the event, from planning to execution. It served as a reminder of the importance of sports in holistic education, nurturing essential values such as discipline, perseverance, and cooperation.
