JNV Williamnagar Celebrates Foundational Literacy & Numeracy Day

On July 23, 2024, JNV Williamnagar hosted an engaging  programme to celebrate Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) Day. The programme began with a powerful speech by the MOD Ms. Tumpa Saha , who underscored the significance of FLN Day. She spoke about how foundational literacy and numeracy are essential for students' academic and personal growth, setting the stage for a lifetime of learning. The students of Class VI B kicked off the performances with a lively song on the topic of angles . Next, the entire Class VI A performed a captivating song about integers. It continued with another delightful performance by the students of Class VI B, who sang a song on the topic of nouns in English grammar. The innovative approach of teaching grammar and mathematics through music was showcasing the school's commitment to making learning enjoyable and effective by providing a memorable way for students to understand and remember the different types of angles and the properties of integers.
