JNV Williamnagar Students Shine in Cluster Sports Trials Held in Kamrup 2024-25

In a remarkable display of talent, 18 out of 34 students from JNV Williamnagar have been selected for the regional level cluster meet in Shillong. The selection trials, held at JNV Kamrup, saw several standout performances from JNV Williamnagar's athletes.
Chingshareme emerged as a standout competitor, securing wins in triple jump, 1500m, and 800m. Bethshiba also made a strong impression by winning in both the 3000m and long jump in the under-19 girls' category. In the under-17 girls' category, Urbashee achieved victories in shotput and javelin.
The volleyball teams saw Nikshame and Triola selected for the under-17 girls' category. In the 100m hurdles, Anecherish and Dev Saha qualified in the under-19 girls' and boys' categories, respectively. Additionally, Abhay Kumar, Aman Kumar, and Nur Nehar won in khokho for the under-17 Boys' and girls' category.

This impressive performance underscores the exceptional athletic ability at JNV Williamnagar and represents a significant achievement for the school.
