The Independence Day celebration at PMSHRI JNV Williamnagar was a remarkable event that honored the spirit of freedom. The event was marked by a vibrant program, skillfully coordinated by the anchor Ms. Arohi Zade, whose leadership ensured a seamless and engaging celebration. The programme commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the Principal, Mr. Ravi Kant, who was ceremoniously given a guard of honor by the students. This ritual set a respectful tone for the day's festivities.
Following the flag hoisting, Principal Mr. Ravi Kant delivered a powerful and moving speech. His address focused on the importance of independence, the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, and the role of the current generation in safeguarding and advancing the ideals of our nation. The programme then featured speeches by two promising students. Khushi Kumari Poddar from Class IX and Vansh from class VI delivered  heartfelt speeches about the values of freedom and the contributions of historical figures in India’s journey to independence. The cultural segment of the event featured an array of performances by the students. Powerful songs and  vibrant group dance performances showcased the students' talents and enthusiasm.TGT Hindi Mr. Rajkamal Bairwa further enriched the programme with a poignant poem recitation. His poem depicted the pain and sacrifice of the wife of a fallen soldier, effectively conveying the personal cost of national freedom. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by PGT English Mr. Madhu Mangal Biswas. He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organizing and participating in the celebration, acknowledging their efforts in making the event both memorable and meaningful.
